As of my last update in January 2022, Join TikTok Creativity Program Beta is an initiative that allows users to test new features and tools before they are widely released on the platform. This program is designed to gather feedback from creators and improve the overall TikTok experience. Here’s some information on eligibility and how to apply:

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Be an Active Creator: TikTok typically looks for creators who are actively posting content on the platform.
  • Engagement: Creators with a strong engagement rate, high-quality content, and a significant following are more likely to be selected.
  • Diverse Content: TikTok often looks for creators who produce a variety of content types, such as videos, dances, challenges, and educational content.
  • Application Process: The application process for the Creativity Program Beta can vary. TikTok may reach out to eligible creators directly with an invitation to join. Alternatively, they may provide an application form for interested creators to fill out.

How to Apply (Potential Steps):

  1. Look for Invitations: Keep an eye on your TikTok notifications and messages. TikTok may send invitations directly to creators who meet their criteria.
  2. Check the Announcement Section: TikTok may announce the program in their newsroom or within the app’s “For You” page. This could include information on how to apply or where to find the application form.
  3. Explore the Settings: Sometimes, there might be an option within the TikTok app settings or the Creator Marketplace where you can express interest in joining beta programs or testing new features.
  4. Stay Active and Engaged: Continuously creating and engaging with your audience increases your chances of being noticed by TikTok’s team.
  5. Wait for Updates: If you don’t see any announcements or invitations immediately, keep checking back periodically. TikTok may open applications for the program at different times.

TikTok’s Creator Fund in contrast to. Creativity Program

The requirements to join both the existing Creator Fund and the new Creativity Program are the same. TikTok states that users already members of the former program are able to switch into it’s new program. There is no confirmation yet on whether TikTok will replace with the Creator Fund entirely once the Creativity Program moves out of beta. In the meantime, Creativity Program Beta does, however, provide an new condition for being paid that videos have to be longer than one minute in length to be considered monetizable.

In the report by the information, TikTok leaders discussed setting the threshold for follower minimums at 100,000, which is much higher than the requirements to fund Creator Fund. Creator Fund. But, TikTok does not yet confirm this need, and it’s likely that the threshold could be less.
